A truck full of slimy fish overturned on a US highway on Thursday, dousing surrounding

vehicles with sticky goo and causing a 4-car pile-up. One driver was injured in the accident in the western state of Oregon. The trailer truck was carrying about 3.4 tons of hagfish, which are also known as "slime eels" because they secrete slime when distressed. Authorities used a bulldozer to remove the goo from a 200-meter stretch of the highway. Firefighters helped by spraying the road down with water. The hagfish were to be exported to South Korea, where they are considered a delicacy.
